Professor,
Regarding the or tags, shouldn’t they be followed by the tag?
I am using notepad to validate my code before posting and when I run it on the browser, it only works if I include the tag after the or tags.
Thanks,
Maria

Oopps…that did not show up correctly. I meant to say that for the ul and ol tags, shouldn’t they be followed by the li tag?
(sorry, message got distorted when I used the brackets when mentioning the tags)

@ Maria,
I use a handy Firefox plug in called Scribefire to test my code. You are the first brave soul to attempt a list. The nesting is as follows:

OK here it goes…..not sure it will work…I hope you can see some humor in it:
A few things to ponder…
Why is the homework assignment, listed on the slides, always different from the blog?
Is there a gremlin, mysteriously, adding more homework to the blog?
Does the gremlin also have a deadline of Friday?
Should we polldaddy that?
Can students submit homework by Friday?
No way, Jose
Yes, I am superwoman/men
Let’s polldaddy that question
(Disclamer: Only joking!)

Oh well…it didn’t seem to work. It works when I validate it on firefox but not here. I don’t want to clutter your coments section, so I’ll stop here.
thanks

@Maria,
This blog is everyone’s sandbox. It is here to use and test and abuse. Practice here before you go out in the world and log comments. Clutter away ….
A few things to ponder…
Was produced with this HTML:

Great, thanks.
I used both tags, the ul and ol tags. the ul tags were used for item 1 and item 5. There were bullets as well as numbers.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to complicate things.

Professor,
Did you want us to send you the resume project in pdf format or bring it to class?
Thanks

@Everyone,
Just bring your resume to class. We’ll be tuning them a bit. After you create your “final” version, I’d like a copy of the PDF sent to my email. All transmissions over the network of Powerpoint or Word files should be via PDF.

@Katie,
That was pretty gutsy trying to do both an italics and bold html move in the same sentence! Your line has a logic error which I will show the class on Monday. Thanks for the example.
